قَالَ فَمَا بَالُ الْقُرُوْنِ الْاُوْلٰى ( طه: ٥١ )
He said
قَالَ
அவன் கூறினான்
"Then what (is the) case
فَمَا بَالُ
நிலை என்னவாகும்
(of) the generations
ٱلْقُرُونِ
தலைமுறையினர்கள்
(of) the former"
ٱلْأُولَىٰ
முந்திய
Qaala famaa baalul quroonil oolaa (Ṭāʾ Hāʾ 20:51)
Abdul Hameed Baqavi:
அதற்கவன் "முன்னர் சென்றுபோன (சிலை வணக்கம் செய்து கொண்டிருந்த)வர்களின் கதி என்னாகும்?" என்று கேட்டான்.
English Sahih:
[Pharaoh] said, "Then what is the case of the former generations?" ([20] Taha : 51)
