وَهُوَ الَّذِيْ يُحْيٖ وَيُمِيْتُ وَلَهُ اخْتِلَافُ الَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِۗ اَفَلَا تَعْقِلُوْنَ ( المؤمنون: ٨٠ )
And He (is) the One Who
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى
இன்னும் அவன்தான்
gives life
يُحْىِۦ
உயிர் கொடுக்கின்றான்
and causes death
وَيُمِيتُ
இன்னும் மரணத்தை தருகிறான்
and for Him
وَلَهُ
அவனுடையதுதான்
(is the) alternation
ٱخْتِلَٰفُ
மாறிமாறி வருவதும்
(of) the night
ٱلَّيْلِ
இரவு
and the day
وَٱلنَّهَارِۚ
இன்னும் பகல்
Then will not you reason?
أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ
நீங்கள் சிந்தித்து புரிய மாட்டீர்களா?
Wa Huwal lazee yuhyee wa yumeetu wa lahukh tilaaful laili wannahaar; afalaa ta'qiloon (al-Muʾminūn 23:80)
Abdul Hameed Baqavi:
அவனே உயிர் கொடுக்கிறான்; மரணிக்கவும் செய்விக்கிறான். இரவு பகல் மாறி மாறி வருவதும் அவனுடைய கட்டளையினாலேயே! இவ்வளவு கூட நீங்கள் அறிந்துகொள்ள வேண்டாமா?
English Sahih:
And it is He who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of the night and the day. Then will you not reason? ([23] Al-Mu'minun : 80)
