لَقَدْ وُعِدْنَا نَحْنُ وَاٰبَاۤؤُنَا هٰذَا مِنْ قَبْلُ اِنْ هٰذَآ اِلَّآ اَسَاطِيْرُ الْاَوَّلِيْنَ ( المؤمنون: ٨٣ )
Verily
لَقَدْ
திட்டவட்டமாக
we have been promised
وُعِدْنَا
வாக்களிக்கப்பட்டோம்
[we]
نَحْنُ
நாங்களும்
and our forefathers
وَءَابَآؤُنَا
எங்கள் மூதாதைகளும்
this
هَٰذَا
இதை
before before
مِن قَبْلُ
இதற்கு முன்னர்
not (is) this
إِنْ هَٰذَآ
இது வேறில்லை
but
إِلَّآ
தவிர
(the) tales
أَسَٰطِيرُ
கட்டுக் கதைகளே
(of) the former (people)"
ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
முன்னோர்களின்
Laqad wu'idnaa nahnu wa aabaaa'unaa haazaa min qablu in haazaaa illaaa asaateerul awwaleen (al-Muʾminūn 23:83)
Abdul Hameed Baqavi:
(அன்றி) "நிச்சயமாக நாமும் நம்முடைய மூதாதைகளும் இவ்வாறே பயமுறுத்தப்பட்டோம். இது முன்னுள்ளவர்களின் கட்டுக்கதையே அன்றி வேறில்லை" (என்றும் கூறுகின்றனர்.)
English Sahih:
We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples." ([23] Al-Mu'minun : 83)
