لَقَدْ وُعِدْنَا نَحْنُ وَاٰبَاۤؤُنَا هٰذَا مِنْ قَبْلُ اِنْ هٰذَآ اِلَّآ اَسَاطِيْرُ الْاَوَّلِيْنَ   ( المؤمنون: ٨٣ )

وَءَابَآؤُنَا
and our forefathers

هَٰذَا

(is) this

إِلَّآ

asāṭīru
أَسَٰطِيرُ
(the) tales
l-awalīna
ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
(of) the former (people)"

Laqad wu'idnaa nahnu wa aabaaa'unaa haazaa min qablu in haazaaa illaaa asaateerul awwaleen (al-Muʾminūn 23:83)

Sahih International:

We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples." (Al-Mu'minun [23] : 83)

This is what has been promised to us and to our fathers before. It is nothing but the tales of the ancients.”
