قُلْ سِيْرُوْا فِى الْاَرْضِ فَانْظُرُوْا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلُۗ كَانَ اَكْثَرُهُمْ مُّشْرِكِيْنَ ( الروم: ٤٢ )
Say
قُلْ
கூறுவீராக!
"Travel
سِيرُوا۟
பயணியுங்கள்
in the earth
فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ
பூமியில்
and see
فَٱنظُرُوا۟
பாருங்கள்
how
كَيْفَ
எப்படி
was
كَانَ
இருந்தது
(the) end
عَٰقِبَةُ
முடிவு
(of) those who
ٱلَّذِينَ
எவர்கள்
(were) before (were) before
مِن قَبْلُۚ
முன்னர்
Most of them were
كَانَ
இருந்தனர்
Most of them were
أَكْثَرُهُم
அதிகமானவர்கள் அவர்களில்
polytheists"
مُّشْرِكِينَ
இணை வைப்பவர்களாக
Qul seeroo fil ardi fanzuroo kaifa kaana 'aaqibatul lazeena min qabl; kaana aksaruhum mushrikeen (ar-Rūm 30:42)
Abdul Hameed Baqavi:
(நபியே!) நீங்கள் கூறுங்கள்: பூமியில் நீங்கள் சுற்றித் திரிந்து பாருங்கள். உங்களுக்கு முன்னிருந்தவர்களின் முடிவு என்னாயிற்று? முன்னிருந்தவர்களில் பெரும்பாலானவர்கள் இணைவைத்து வணங்குபவர்களாகவே இருந்தனர்.
English Sahih:
Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of those before. Most of them were associators [of others with Allah]. ([30] Ar-Rum : 42)
