فَاِنْ يَّصْبِرُوْا فَالنَّارُ مَثْوًى لَّهُمْ ۚوَاِنْ يَّسْتَعْتِبُوْا فَمَا هُمْ مِّنَ الْمُعْتَبِيْنَ ( فصلت: ٢٤ )
Then if they endure
فَإِن يَصْبِرُوا۟
அவர்கள் பொறுமையாக இருந்தாலும்
the Fire
فَٱلنَّارُ
நரகம்தான்
(is) an abode
مَثْوًى
தங்குமிடமாகும்
for them;
لَّهُمْۖ
அவர்களுக்குரிய
and if they ask for favor
وَإِن يَسْتَعْتِبُوا۟
அவர்கள் தங்களைத் திருப்புமாறு கோரினால்
then not they (will be) of those who receive favor
فَمَا هُم مِّنَ ٱلْمُعْتَبِينَ
அப்படி அவர்கள் திருப்பப்பட மாட்டார்கள்
Fa-iny yasbiroo fan Naaru maswal lahum wa iny-yasta'tiboo famaa hum minal mu'tabeen (Fuṣṣilat 41:24)
Abdul Hameed Baqavi:
ஆகவே, அவர்கள் (ஏதும் பேசாது கஷ்டங்களைச்) சகித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தபோதிலும், அவர்கள் தங்குமிடம் நரகம்தான். அவர்கள் மன்னிப்பைக் கோரியபோதிலும், அவர்கள் மன்னிக்கப்பட மாட்டார்கள்.
English Sahih:
So [even] if they are patient, the Fire is a residence for them; and if they ask to appease [Allah], they will not be of those who are allowed to appease. ([41] Fussilat : 24)
