تَرٰى كَثِيْرًا مِّنْهُمْ يَتَوَلَّوْنَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا ۗ لَبِئْسَ مَا قَدَّمَتْ لَهُمْ اَنْفُسُهُمْ اَنْ سَخِطَ اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَفِى الْعَذَابِ هُمْ خٰلِدُوْنَ ( المائدة: ٨٠ )
Taraa kaseeram minhum yatawallawnal lazeena kafaroo; labi'sa maa qaddamat lahum anfusuhum an sakhital laahu 'alaihim wa fil 'azaabi hum khaalidoon (al-Māʾidah 5:80)

அவர்களில் பெரும்பான்மையினர் நிராகரிப்பவர்களை தோழமை கொள்வதை (நபியே!) நீங்கள் காண்பீர்கள்! அல்லாஹ் அவர்கள் மீது கோபிக்கும்படி அவர்கள் தாமாகவே தேடிக் கொண்டது மிகக் கெட்டது. அவர்கள் (நரக) வேதனையில் (என்றென்றுமே) தங்கி விடுவார்கள்.
English Sahih:
You see many of them becoming allies of those who disbelieved [i.e., the polytheists]. How wretched is that which they have put forth for themselves in that Allah has become angry with them, and in the punishment they will abide eternally. ([5] Al-Ma'idah : 80)

(நபியே!) அவர்களில் அநேகர் காஃபிர்களையே உற்ற நண்பர்களாகக் கொண்டிருப்பதை நீர் காண்பீர்; அவர்கள் தமக்காக முற்கூட்டியே அனுப்பிவைத்தது நிச்சயமாக கெட்டதேயாகும்; ஏனெனில் அல்லாஹ்வின் கோபம் அவர்கள் மீதுள்ளது; மேலும் வேதனையில் அவர்கள் என்றென்றும் தங்கியிருப்பார்கள்.
