وَّاَنَّا لَمَسْنَا السَّمَاۤءَ فَوَجَدْنٰهَا مُلِئَتْ حَرَسًا شَدِيْدًا وَّشُهُبًاۖ ( الجن: ٨ )
And that we
وَأَنَّا
இன்னும் நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள்
sought to touch
لَمَسْنَا
தேடினோம்
the heaven
ٱلسَّمَآءَ
வானத்தை
but we found it
فَوَجَدْنَٰهَا
அதை நாங்கள் கண்டோம்
filled (with)
مُلِئَتْ
நிரப்பப்பட்டிருப்பதாக
guards
حَرَسًا
காவல்களாலும்
severe
شَدِيدًا
கடுமையான
and flaming fires
وَشُهُبًا
இன்னும் எரி நட்சத்திரங்களாலும்
Wa annaa lamasnas sa maaa'a fa wajadnaahaa muli'at harasan shadeedanw wa shuhubaa (al-Jinn 72:8)
Abdul Hameed Baqavi:
நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் வானத்தைத் தடவிப் பார்த்தோம். அது பலமான பாதுகாவலர்களாலும், எரி நட்சத்திரங்களாலும் நிரப்பப்பட்டிருப்பதை நாங்கள் கண்டோம்.
English Sahih:
And we have sought [to reach] the heaven but found it filled with powerful guards and burning flames. ([72] Al-Jinn : 8)
