۞ وَاعْلَمُوْٓا اَنَّمَا غَنِمْتُمْ مِّنْ شَيْءٍ فَاَنَّ لِلّٰهِ خُمُسَهٗ وَلِلرَّسُوْلِ وَلِذِى الْقُرْبٰى وَالْيَتٰمٰى وَالْمَسٰكِيْنِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيْلِ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ اٰمَنْتُمْ بِاللّٰهِ وَمَآ اَنْزَلْنَا عَلٰى عَبْدِنَا يَوْمَ الْفُرْقَانِ يَوْمَ الْتَقَى الْجَمْعٰنِۗ وَاللّٰهُ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ ( الأنفال: ٤١ )
Wa'lamooo annamaa ghanimtum min sha'in fa anna lillaahi khumusahoo wa lir Rasooli wa lizil qurba walyataamaa walmasaakeeni wabnis sabeeli in kuntum aamantum billaahi wa maaa anzalnaa 'ala 'abdinaa yawmal Furqaani yawmaltaqal jam'aan; wal laahu 'alaa kulli shai'in Qadeer (al-ʾAnfāl 8:41)

(நம்பிக்கையாளர்களே!) உங்களுக்கு போரில் கிடைத்த எந்தப் பொருளிலும் ஐந்தில் ஒரு பாகம் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கும், (அவனுடைய) தூதருக்கும், (அவருடைய) பந்துக்களுக்கும், அநாதைகளுக்கும், ஏழைகளுக்கும், பயணிகளுக்கும் உரித்தானது. உண்மையாகவே நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வை நம்பிக்கை கொண்டிருப்பதுடன், இரு படைகளும் சந்தித்து (முடிவான) தீர்ப்பளித்த (பத்ரு) நாளில் நாம் நம் அடியார் மீது இறக்கி வைத்த உதவியை அவன்தான் இறக்கி வைத்தான் என்பதையும் நீங்கள் நம்புபவர்களாக இருந்தால், உறுதியாக அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்! நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் அனைத்தின் மீதும் ஆற்றலுடையவனாக இருக்கின்றான்.
English Sahih:
And know that anything you obtain of war booty – then indeed, for Allah is one fifth of it and for the Messenger and for [his] near relatives and the orphans, the needy, and the [stranded] traveler, if you have believed in Allah and in that which We sent down to Our Servant on the day of criterion [i.e., decisive encounter] – the day when the two armies met [at Badr]. And Allah, over all things, is competent. ([8] Al-Anfal : 41)

(முஃமின்களே!) உங்களுக்கு(ப் போரில்) கிடைத்த வெற்றிப் பொருள்களிலிருந்து நிச்சயமாக ஐந்திலொரு பங்கு அல்லாஹ்வுக்கும், (அவன்) தூதருக்கும்; அவர்களுடைய பந்துக்களுக்கும், அநாதைகளுக்கும், ஏழைகளுக்கும், வழிப்போக்கர்களுக்கும் உரியதாகும் - மெய்யாகவே நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது ஈமான் கொண்டு, இரு படைகள் சந்தித்துத் தீர்ப்பளித்த (பத்ரு நாளில்) நாம் நம் அடியார் மீது இறக்கி வைத்த உதவியை (அல்லாஹ்வே அளித்தான் என்பதை)யும் நீங்கள் நம்புவீர்களானால் (மேல்கூறியது பற்றி) உறுதியாக அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள் - நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் அனைத்துப் பொருட்களின் மீதும் பேராற்றலுடையவன்.
