قَالُوْا تَاللّٰهِ لَقَدْ عَلِمْتُمْ مَّا جِئْنَا لِنُفْسِدَ فِى الْاَرْضِ وَمَا كُنَّا سَارِقِيْنَ ( يوسف: ٧٣ )

that we cause corruption

ٱلْأَرْضِ
the land

وَمَا
and not

kunnā
كُنَّا
we are
我们是
sāriqīna
سَٰرِقِينَ
thieves"
众小偷
Qaaloo tallaahi laqad 'alimtum maa ji'na linufsida fil ardi wa maa kunnaa saariqeen (Yūsuf 12:73)
English Sahih:
They said, "By Allah, you have certainly known that we did not come to cause corruption in the land, and we have not been thieves." (Yusuf [12] : 73)
Ma Jian (Simplified):
他们说：“指安拉发誓，你们知道，我们不是到这个地方来捣乱的，我们向来不是小偷。” (优素福 [12] : 73)
