قُلْ لَّوْ اَنْتُمْ تَمْلِكُوْنَ خَزَاۤىِٕنَ رَحْمَةِ رَبِّيْٓ اِذًا لَّاَمْسَكْتُمْ خَشْيَةَ الْاِنْفَاقِۗ وَكَانَ الْاِنْسَانُ قَتُوْرًا ࣖ ( الإسراء: ١٠٠ )

surely you would withhold
你们扣留|必定

خَشْيَةَ
(out of) fear
畏惧
l-infāqi
ٱلْإِنفَاقِۚ
(of) spending"
花费的
wakāna
وَكَانَ
And is
他是|和
l-insānu
ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ
man
世人
qatūran
قَتُورًا
stingy
吝啬的
Qul law antum tamlikoona khazaaa'ina rahmati Rabbeee izal la amsaktum khash yatal infaaq; wa kaanal insaanu qatooraa (al-ʾIsrāʾ 17:100)
English Sahih:
Say [to them], "If you possessed the depositories of the mercy of my Lord, then you would withhold out of fear of spending." And ever has man been stingy. (Al-Isra [17] : 100)
Ma Jian (Simplified):
你说:“假若我的主的恩惠的库藏归你们管理,那么,你们必定因为怕开支而扣留他的恩惠。人是吝啬的。” (夜行 [17] : 100)
