وَاِذْ قُلْنَا لَكَ اِنَّ رَبَّكَ اَحَاطَ بِالنَّاسِۗ وَمَا جَعَلْنَا الرُّءْيَا الَّتِيْٓ اَرَيْنٰكَ اِلَّا فِتْنَةً لِّلنَّاسِ وَالشَّجَرَةَ الْمَلْعُوْنَةَ فِى الْقُرْاٰنِ ۗ وَنُخَوِّفُهُمْۙ فَمَا يَزِيْدُهُمْ اِلَّا طُغْيَانًا كَبِيْرًا ࣖ ( الإسراء: ٦٠ )
Wa iz qulnaa laka inna rabbaka ahaata binnaas; wa maa ja'alnar ru'yal lateee arainaaka illaa fitnatal linnaasi washshajaratal mal'oonata fil quraan; wa nukhaw wifuhum famaa yazeeduhum illa tughyaanan kabeeraa (al-ʾIsrāʾ 17:60)
English Sahih:
And [remember, O Muhammad], when We told you, "Indeed, your Lord has encompassed the people." And We did not make the sight which We showed you except as a trial for the people, as was the accursed tree [mentioned] in the Quran. And We threaten [i.e., warn] them, but it increases them not except in great transgression. (Al-Isra [17] : 60)

当时，我曾对你说：“你的主是周知众人的。我所昭示你的梦兆和在《古兰经》里所诅咒的那棵树，我只以这两件事物考验众人，并加以恫吓，但我的恫吓只能使他们更加蛮横。” (夜行 [17] : 60)
