۞ اَلَمْ تَرَ اِلَى الَّذِيْنَ خَرَجُوْا مِنْ دِيَارِهِمْ وَهُمْ اُلُوْفٌ حَذَرَ الْمَوْتِۖ فَقَالَ لَهُمُ اللّٰهُ مُوْتُوْا ۗ ثُمَّ اَحْيَاهُمْ ۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَذُوْ فَضْلٍ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَلٰكِنَّ اَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَشْكُرُوْنَ ( البقرة: ٢٤٣ )
Alam tara ilal lazeena kharajoo min diyaarihim wa hum uloofun hazaral mawti faqaaala lahumul laahu mootoo summa ahyaahum; innal laaha lazoo fadlin 'alannaasi wa laakinna aksarannaasi laa yashkuroon (al-Baq̈arah 2:243)
English Sahih:
Have you not considered those who left their homes in many thousands, fearing death? Allah said to them, "Die"; then He restored them to life. And Allah is the possessor of bounty for the people, but most of the people do not show gratitude. (Al-Baqarah [2] : 243)
Ma Jian (Simplified):
难道你不曾看到那些成千上万因为怕死而从自己的家园逃亡出去的人吗？安拉曾对他们说：“你们死亡吧。”嗣后，又使他们复活。安拉对于世人确是有恩惠的，但世人大半不感谢。 (黄牛 [2] : 243)
