وَكَمْ اَهْلَكْنَا مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ ۢ بَطِرَتْ مَعِيْشَتَهَا ۚفَتِلْكَ مَسٰكِنُهُمْ لَمْ تُسْكَنْ مِّنْۢ بَعْدِهِمْ اِلَّا قَلِيْلًاۗ وَكُنَّا نَحْنُ الْوَارِثِيْنَ ( القصص: ٥٨ )

And how many

We have destroyed

(in) its means of livelihood

(are) their dwellings

And indeed, [We]
我们是|和
naḥnu
نَحْنُ
We

l-wārithīna
ٱلْوَٰرِثِينَ
(are) the inheritors
继承者
Wa kam ahlaknaa min qaryatim batirat ma'eeshatahaa fatilka masaainuhum lam tuskam mim ba'dihim illaa qaleelaa; wa kunnaa Nahnul waariseen (al-Q̈aṣaṣ 28:58)
English Sahih:
And how many a city have We destroyed that was insolent in its [way of] living, and those are their dwellings which have not been inhabited after them except briefly. And it is We who were the inheritors. (Al-Qasas [28] : 58)
Ma Jian (Simplified):
我曾毁灭许多城市，那些城市里的居民，过一种骄奢的生活。这些是他们的居住地，从他们灭亡后，除很少的时间外，无人居住；我是他们的继承者。 (故事 [28] : 58)
