لَا يَسْـَٔمُ الْاِنْسَانُ مِنْ دُعَاۤءِ الْخَيْرِۖ وَاِنْ مَّسَّهُ الشَّرُّ فَيَـُٔوْسٌ قَنُوْطٌ ( فصلت: ٤٩ )

Laa yas'amul insaanu min du'aaa'il khairi wa im massa hush sharru fa ya'oosun qanoot (Fuṣṣilat 41:49)
English Sahih:
Man is not weary of supplication for good [things], but if evil touches him, he is hopeless and despairing. (Fussilat [41] : 49)
Ma Jian (Simplified):
人祈福不厌,一遭祸患就灰心绝望。 (奉绥来特 [41] : 49)
