وَلَوْ اَنَّ اَهْلَ الْقُرٰٓى اٰمَنُوْا وَاتَّقَوْا لَفَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ بَرَكٰتٍ مِّنَ السَّمَاۤءِ وَالْاَرْضِ وَلٰكِنْ كَذَّبُوْا فَاَخَذْنٰهُمْ بِمَا كَانُوْا يَكْسِبُوْنَ ( الأعراف: ٩٦ )

And if
假若|和

people
人们
l-qurā
ٱلْقُرَىٰٓ
(of) the cities
众城镇的
āmanū
ءَامَنُوا۟
(had) believed
他们诚信
wa-ittaqaw
وَٱتَّقَوْا۟
and feared Allah
他们敬畏|和
lafataḥnā
لَفَتَحْنَا
surely We (would have) opened
我们打开|必定
ʿalayhim
عَلَيْهِم
upon them
他们|在
barakātin
بَرَكَٰتٍ
blessings
众福利
mina
مِّنَ
from
从
l-samāi
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
the heaven
天
wal-arḍi
وَٱلْأَرْضِ
and the earth
地|和
walākin
وَلَٰكِن
but
但是|和
kadhabū
كَذَّبُوا۟
they denied
他们否认
fa-akhadhnāhum
فَأَخَذْنَٰهُم
So We seized them
他们|我们惩治|因此
bimā
بِمَا
for what
什么|在
kānū
كَانُوا۟
they used to
他们是
yaksibūna
يَكْسِبُونَ
earn
他们谋取
Wa law anna ahlal quraaa aamanoo wattaqaw lafatahnaa 'alaihim barakaatim minas samaaa'i wal ardi wa laakin kazzaboo fa akhaznaahum bimaa kaanoo yaksiboon (al-ʾAʿrāf 7:96)
English Sahih:
And if only the people of the cities had believed and feared Allah, We would have opened [i.e., bestowed] upon them blessings from the heaven and the earth; but they denied [the messengers], so We seized them for what they were earning. (Al-A'raf [7] : 96)
Ma Jian (Simplified):
假若各城市的居民，信道而且敬畏，我必为他们而开辟天地的福利，但是他们都否认了，故我因他们所作的罪恶而惩治了他们。 (高处 [7] : 96)
