وَّلَا عَلَى الَّذِيْنَ اِذَا مَآ اَتَوْكَ لِتَحْمِلَهُمْ قُلْتَ لَآ اَجِدُ مَآ اَحْمِلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ ۖتَوَلَّوْا وَّاَعْيُنُهُمْ تَفِيْضُ مِنَ الدَّمْعِ حَزَنًا اَلَّا يَجِدُوْا مَا يُنْفِقُوْنَۗ ( التوبة: ٩٢ )
Wa laa 'alal lazeena izaa maaa atawka litahmilahum qulta laaa ajidu maaa ahmilukum 'alaihi tawallaw wa a'yunuhum tafeedu minaddam'i hazanan allaa yajidoo maa yunfiqoon (at-Tawbah 9:92)
English Sahih:
Nor [is there blame] upon those who, when they came to you for you to take them along, you said, "I can find nothing upon which to carry you." They turned back while their eyes overflowed with tears out of grief that they could not find something to spend [for the cause of Allah]. (At-Tawbah [9] : 92)
Ma Jian (Simplified):
那等人也是无可非难的，当他们来请求你以牲口供给他们（出征）的时候，你说：“我没有牲口供给你们。”他们就挥泪而去，他们因为不能自筹旅费而悲伤。 (忏悔 [9] : 92)
