وَلَكُمْ فِى الْقِصَاصِ حَيٰوةٌ يّٰٓاُولِى الْاَلْبَابِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُوْنَ ( البقرة: ١٧٩ )
And for you
وَلَكُمْ
Und für euch
in
فِى
in
the legal retribution
ٱلْقِصَاصِ
der Widervergeltung
(is) life
حَيَوٰةٌ
(ist) Leben,
O men
يَٰٓأُو۟لِى
O die
(of) understanding!
ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ
mit Verstand,
So that you may
لَعَلَّكُمْ
auf daß ihr
(become) righteous
تَتَّقُونَ
Gottesfürchtig werdet.
Wa Lakum Fī Al-Qişāşi Ĥayāatun Yā 'Ūlī Al-'Albābi La`allakum Tattaqūna. (al-Baq̈arah 2:179)

In der Wiedervergeltung liegt Leben für euch, o die ihr Verstand besitzt, auf daß ihr gottesfürchtig werden möget! ([2] al-Baqara (Die Kuh) : 179)
English Sahih:
And there is for you in legal retribution [saving of] life, O you [people] of understanding, that you may become righteous. ([2] Al-Baqarah : 179)
