ثُمَّ اسْتَوٰىٓ اِلَى السَّمَاۤءِ وَهِيَ دُخَانٌ فَقَالَ لَهَا وَلِلْاَرْضِ ائْتِيَا طَوْعًا اَوْ كَرْهًاۗ قَالَتَآ اَتَيْنَا طَاۤىِٕعِيْنَ ( فصلت: ١١ )
Then
ثُمَّ
Hierauf
He directed (Himself)
ٱسْتَوَىٰٓ
wandte er sich zu
towards
إِلَى
zu
the heaven
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
dem Himmel,
while it (was)
وَهِىَ
während er
smoke
دُخَانٌ
Rauch (war)
and He said
فَقَالَ
und sagte
to it
لَهَا
zu ihm
and to the earth
وَلِلْأَرْضِ
und zur Erde;
"Come both of you
ٱئْتِيَا
"Kommt beide her,
willingly
طَوْعًا
(in) gehorsam
or
أَوْ
oder
unwillingly"
كَرْهًا
gezwungen."
They both said
قَالَتَآ
Sie sagten beiden;
"We come
أَتَيْنَا
"Wir kommen beide
willingly"
طَآئِعِينَ
(in) Gehorsam."
Thumma Astawaá 'Ilaá As-Samā'i Wa Hiya Dukhānun Faqāla Lahā Wa Lil'arđi Ai'tiyā Ţaw`āan 'Aw Karhāan Qālatā 'Ataynā Ţā'i`īna. (Fuṣṣilat 41:11)

Hierauf wandte Er sich dem Himmel zu, während er noch aus Rauch bestand, und sagte dann zu ihm und zur Erde; "Kommt beide her, freiwillig oder widerwillig." Sie sagten; "Wir kommen in Gehorsam." ([41] Fussilat (Ausführlich dargelegt) : 11)
English Sahih:
Then He directed Himself to the heaven while it was smoke and said to it and to the earth, "Come [into being], willingly or by compulsion." They said, "We have come willingly." ([41] Fussilat : 11)
