وَمَنْ اَضَلُّ مِمَّنْ يَّدْعُوْا مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ مَنْ لَّا يَسْتَجِيْبُ لَهٗٓ اِلٰى يَوْمِ الْقِيٰمَةِ وَهُمْ عَنْ دُعَاۤىِٕهِمْ غٰفِلُوْنَ ( الأحقاف: ٥ )
And who
وَمَنْ
Und wer
(is) more astray
أَضَلُّ
(ist) weiter abgeirrt
than (he) who
مِمَّن
als wer
calls
يَدْعُوا۟
anruft
besides
مِن
von
besides
دُونِ
neben
Allah
ٱللَّهِ
Allah,
who
مَن
wer
will not respond
لَّا
nicht
will not respond
يَسْتَجِيبُ
erhört
to him
لَهُۥٓ
ihn
until
إِلَىٰ
bis
(the) Day
يَوْمِ
(zu dem) Tag
(of) Resurrection
ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ
der Auferstehung
and they
وَهُمْ
und sie
of
عَن
von
their calls
دُعَآئِهِمْ
ihren Bittgebeten
(are) unaware
غَٰفِلُونَ
(sind) Unachtsame.
Wa Man 'Ađallu Mimman Yad`ū Min Dūni Allāhi Man Lā Yastajību Lahu 'Ilaá Yawmi Al-Qiyāmati Wa Hum `An Du`ā'ihim Ghāfilūna. (al-ʾAḥq̈āf 46:5)
A. S. F. Bubenheim and N. Elyas:
Und wer ist weiter abgeirrt als jemand, der anstatt Allahs jemanden anruft, der ihn nicht erhört bis zum Tag der Auferstehung? Und sie achten nicht auf ihr Bittgebet. ([46] al-Ahqaf : 5)
English Sahih:
And who is more astray than he who invokes besides Allah those who will not respond to him until the Day of Resurrection [i.e., never], and they, of their invocation, are unaware. ([46] Al-Ahqaf : 5)
