اِتَّخَذُوْٓا اَيْمَانَهُمْ جُنَّةً فَصَدُّوْا عَنْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ ۗاِنَّهُمْ سَاۤءَ مَا كَانُوْا يَعْمَلُوْنَ ( المنافقون: ٢ )
They take
ٱتَّخَذُوٓا۟
Sie haben sich genommen
their oaths
أَيْمَٰنَهُمْ
ihre Eide
(as) a cover
جُنَّةً
zu einem Schutzschirm
so they turn away
فَصَدُّوا۟
und halten so ab
from
عَن
von
(the) Way
سَبِيلِ
(dem) Weg
(of) Allah
ٱللَّهِۚ
Allahs
Indeed
إِنَّهُمْ
Gewiss
evil is
سَآءَ
wie böse ist
what
مَا
was
they used (to)
كَانُوا۟
sie pflegen
do
يَعْمَلُونَ
zu tun
Attakhadhū 'Aymānahum Junnatan Faşaddū `An Sabīli Allāhi 'Innahum Sā'a Mā Kānū Ya`malūna. (al-Munāfiq̈ūn 63:2)

Sie haben sich ihre Eide zu einem Schutzschirm genommen und halten so von Allahs Weg ab. Gewiß, wie böse ist, was sie zu tun pflegen. ([63] al-Munafiqun (Die Heuchler) : 2)
English Sahih:
They have taken their oaths as a cover, so they averted [people] from the way of Allah. Indeed, it was evil that they were doing. ([63] Al-Munafiqun : 2)
