وَاِمَّا نُرِيَنَّكَ بَعْضَ الَّذِيْ نَعِدُهُمْ اَوْ نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ فَاِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ ثُمَّ اللّٰهُ شَهِيْدٌ عَلٰى مَا يَفْعَلُوْنَ   ( يونس: ٤٦ )

wa-immā
وَإِمَّا
And whether
nuriyannaka
نُرِيَنَّكَ
We show you
baʿḍa
بَعْضَ
some
alladhī
ٱلَّذِى
(of) that which
naʿiduhum
نَعِدُهُمْ
We promised them
aw
أَوْ
or
natawaffayannaka
نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ
We cause you to die
fa-ilaynā
فَإِلَيْنَا
then to Us
marjiʿuhum
مَرْجِعُهُمْ
(is) their return
thumma
ثُمَّ
then
l-lahu
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
shahīdun
شَهِيدٌ
(is) a Witness
ʿalā
عَلَىٰ
over
مَا
what
yafʿalūna
يَفْعَلُونَ
they do

Wa imma nuriyannaka ba'dal lazee na'iduhum aw natawaffayannaka fa ilainaa marji'uhum summal laahu shaheedun 'alaa maa yaf'aloon (al-Yūnus 10:46)

Sahih International:

And whether We show you some of what We promise them, [O Muhammad], or We take you in death, to Us is their return; then, [either way], Allah is a witness concerning what they are doing. (Yunus [10] : 46)

1 Mufti Taqi Usmani

No matter whether We show you (during your life) some of what We warn them of, or We take you back to Us (before it), in any case, they have to return to Us. Then, Allah is witness to what they do.
