Quraysh Verse 3

let them worship the Lord of this ˹Sacred˺ House,

Let them worship the Lord of this [Sacred] House,

So let them serve the Lord of this House

So let them worship the Lord of this House:

Let them worship the Lord of this House,

Let them adore the Lord of this House,

therefore, let them worship the Lord of this House;

Let them worship the Lord of this House,

So they must worship the Lord of this House. (The Ka’aba)

let them worship the Lord of this House,

Let them worship the Lord of this House (the Ka‘bah),

(They should be ever grateful to God for this favour and) therefore they should worship the Lord of this House (Ka`bah at Makkah),

So they should worship this, the House`s/Home`s Lord

So they must worship the Lord of this House. (The Ka’aba)

So let them serve the Lord of this house

So let them worship (Allah) the Lord of this House (the Ka'bah in Makkah).

So let them serve the Lord of this House.

So let them serve the Lord of this House

So let them worship the Lord of this House,

It is He who has fed them when they were hungry

Therefore let them worship the Lord of this House

So, let them worship the Lord of this House.

So let them worship the Lord of this House,

Let them worship the Lord of this House.

let them worship (fa'l-ya`bud is semantically connected to li-ilfi, `for the security', the f' being extra) the Lord of this House,

So, let them worship the Lord of this House.

meaning, then let them single Him out for worship, just as He has given them a safe sanctuary and a Sacred House.

This is as Allah says,

إِنَّمَأ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ رَبِّ هَذِهِ الْبَلْدَةِ الَّذِى حَرَّمَهَا وَلَهُ كُلُّ شَىءٍ وَأُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ

I have been commanded only to worship the Lord of this city, Who has sanctified it and to Whom belongs everything. And I am commanded to be from among the Muslims. (27;91)

Then Allah says

Are owed to Allah, the Sovereign of this Sanctuary -AL-Ka’ba- Whom they should worship, and Him alone they should adore
