وَلَا تَكُوْنُوْا كَالَّتِيْ نَقَضَتْ غَزْلَهَا مِنْۢ بَعْدِ قُوَّةٍ اَنْكَاثًاۗ تَتَّخِذُوْنَ اَيْمَانَكُمْ دَخَلًا ۢ بَيْنَكُمْ اَنْ تَكُوْنَ اُمَّةٌ هِيَ اَرْبٰى مِنْ اُمَّةٍ ۗاِنَّمَا يَبْلُوْكُمُ اللّٰهُ بِهٖۗ وَلَيُبَيِّنَنَّ لَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ مَا كُنْتُمْ فِيْهِ تَخْتَلِفُوْنَ   ( النحل: ٩٢ )

And (do) not

غَزْلَهَا
her spun yarn

أَنكَٰثًا
(into) untwisted strands
tattakhidhūna
تَتَّخِذُونَ
you take
aymānakum
أَيْمَٰنَكُمْ
your oaths
dakhalan
دَخَلًۢا
(as) a deception
baynakum
بَيْنَكُمْ
between you
an
أَن
because
takūna
تَكُونَ
is
ummatun
أُمَّةٌ
a community
hiya
هِىَ
[it]
arbā
أَرْبَىٰ
more numerous
min
مِنْ
than
ummatin
أُمَّةٍۚ
(another) community
innamā
إِنَّمَا
Only
yablūkumu
يَبْلُوكُمُ
Allah tests you
l-lahu
ٱللَّهُ
Allah tests you
bihi
بِهِۦۚ
by it
walayubayyinanna
وَلَيُبَيِّنَنَّ
And He will make clear
lakum
لَكُمْ
to you
yawma
يَوْمَ
(on) the Day
l-qiyāmati
ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ
(of) the Resurrection
مَا
what
kuntum
كُنتُمْ
you used (to)
fīhi
فِيهِ
in it
takhtalifūna
تَخْتَلِفُونَ
differ

Wa laa takoonoo kallatee naqadat ghazlahaa mim ba'di quwwatin ankaasaa; tattakhizoona aimaanakum dakhlalam bainakum an takoona ummatun hiya arbaa min ummah; innnamaa yablookumul laahu bih; wa la yubaiyinanna lakum yawmal Qiyaamati maa kuntum fee takhtalifoon (an-Naḥl 16:92)

Sahih International:

And do not be like she who untwisted her spun thread after it was strong [by] taking your oaths as [means of] deceit between you because one community is more plentiful [in number or wealth] than another community. Allah only tries you thereby. And He will surely make clear to you on the Day of Resurrection that over which you used to differ. (An-Nahl [16] : 92)

1 Mufti Taqi Usmani

Do not be like the woman who had broken her yarn into pieces after spinning it firmly, by taking your oaths as means of mischief between yourselves, merely because a group gets greater benefit than the other. In fact, Allah puts you to a test thereby and, of course, on the Day of Resurrection He will explain to you all those matters in which you disagreed.
