Al-Isra Verse 52

On the Day He will call you, you will ˹instantly˺ respond by praising Him,[[ When everyone is raised from the dead, they will all praise Allah, regardless of what they had believed in this life.]] thinking you had remained ˹in the world˺ only for a little while.

On the Day when He calls you, you will respond by praising Him, thinking that you had not stayed [on earth] except for a little while.

on the day when He will call you, and you will answer praising Him, and you will think you have but tarried a little.'

it will be the Day when He calls you, and you answer by praising Him, and you think you have stayed [on earth] only a little while.’

The Day whereon He will call you, and ye will answerl with His praise, and ye will imagine that ye had tarried but little.

"It will be on a Day when He will call you, and ye will answer (His call) with (words of) His praise, and ye will think that ye tarried but a little while!"

on the Day when He will call you and you will rise praising Him in response to His call, and you will believe that you had lain in this state only for a while."

"On the day when He will call you, and you will answer with His praises and imagine you did not tarry but a while."

“The day when He will call you and you will come praising Him, thinking you have stayed only a little.”

The day He calls you, you will respond to Him, praising Him, and you will think you remained [in the world] only for a little while.’

"On the Day when He will call you and you will answer with (words of) His praise, thinking that you have stayed (on the earth) but a little while."

(This promise will be fulfilled) on the day when He will call you forth, then you will respond (to Him) saying His praises and you will think that you have tarried (in the world) only for a little while.

A day/time He calls (to) you so you answer/reply with His praise/gratitude/thanks, and you think/assume that truly you stayed/remained except little (you think you did not stay except little).

"The day when He will call you and you will come praising Him, thinking you have stayed only a little."

The day when He shall call on you and you shall answer with praise to Him, they will think that they have tarried but a little while.

On the Day when He will call you, and you will answer (His Call) with (words of) His Praise and Obedience, and you will think that you have stayed (in this world) but a little while!

Or some other creature of those which are too hard (to receive life) in your minds! But they will say: Who will return us? Say: He Who created you at first. Still they will shake their heads at thee and say: When will it be? Say: Maybe it has drawn nigh.

On the day when He will call you forth, then shall you obey Him, giving Him praise, and you will think that you tarried but a little (while).

A day when He will call you and ye will answer with His praise, and ye will think that ye have tarried but a little while.

On the day when He will call you, you will answer Him with praise and think that you have tarried for only a little while."

on that Day, He will summon you, and you shall answer Him with praise and you shall think you have stayed but for a little'

On the Day when He will call you, and you will answer with (words of) His praise and obedience, and you will think that you have stayed (in this world) but a little while!

On that Day He will call you, and you will answer by praising Him, thinking that you have stayed for only a little while."

On the Day when He calls you, you will respond with His praise, and you will realize that you stayed only a little.

The day He calls you, [the day] He calls out to you from your graves by the tongue of [the archangel] Isrfl, you will respond, you will answer His call from your graves, with His praise, by His command -- it is also said to mean [that you will respond] `and praise be to Him' -- and you will think that you have remained, in this world, only a little, because of the terror of what you will see [on that day].

يَوْمَ يَدْعُوكُمْ

On the Day when He will call you,

meaning the Lord, may He be blessed and exalted;

إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ دَعْوَةً مِّنَ الاٌّرْضِ إِذَا أَنتُمْ تَخْرُجُونَ

When He will call you by a single call, behold, you will come out from the earth. (30;25),

meaning, when He commands you to come out from the earth, for nothing can oppose Him or prevent His command from being fulfilled. Rather, it is as He says;

وَمَأ أَمْرُنَأ إِلاَّ وَحِدَةٌ كَلَمْحٍ بِالْبَصَرِ

And Our commandment is but one as the twinkling of an eye. (54;50)

إِنَّمَا قَوْلُنَا لِشَىْءٍ إِذَا أَرَدْنَاهُ أَن نَّقُولَ لَهُ كُنْ فَيَكُونُ

Verily, Our Word unto a thing when We intend it, is only that We say unto it;"Be!" - and it is. (16;40)

فَإِنَّمَا هِىَ زَجْرَةٌ وَحِدَةٌ فَإِذَا هُم بِالسَّاهِرَةِ

But it will be only a single Zajrah. When behold, they find themselves (on the surface of the earth) alive (after their death). (79;13-14),

meaning, it will be just one definitive command, then the people will have come out from the inside of the earth to its surface, as Allah says;

يَوْمَ يَدْعُوكُمْ

فَتَسْتَجِيبُونَ بِحَمْدِهِ

On the Day when He will call you, and you will answer with (words of) His praise.

meaning, you will all rise up in response to His command and in obedience to His will.

وَتَظُنُّونَ

and you will think,

means, on the Day when you rise up from your graves,

إِن لَّبِثْتُمْ

that you have stayed (in this earthly abode),

إِلاَّ قَلِيلً



but a little while.

This is like the Ayah;

كَأَنَّهُمْ يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَهَا لَمْ يَلْبَثُواْ إِلاَّ عَشِيَّةً أَوْ ضُحَـهَا

The Day they see it, (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an afternoon or a morning. (79;46)

Allah says;

يَوْمَ يُنفَخُ فِى الصُّورِ وَنَحْشُرُ الْمُجْرِمِينَ يَوْمِيِذٍ زُرْقاً

يَتَخَـفَتُونَ بَيْنَهُمْ إِن لَّبِثْتُمْ إِلاَّ عَشْراً

نَّحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ إِذْ يَقُولُ أَمْثَلُهُمْ طَرِيقَةً إِن لَّبِثْتُمْ إِلاَّ يَوْماً

The Day when the Trumpet will be blown;that Day, We shall gather the blue or blind-eyed with thirst. They will speak in a very low voice to each other (saying);"You stayed not longer than ten (days)." We know very well what they will say, when the best among them in knowledge and wisdom will say;"You stayed no longer than a day!" (20;102-104)

وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ يُقْسِمُ الْمُجْرِمُونَ مَا لَبِثُواْ غَيْرَ سَاعَةٍ كَذَلِكَ كَانُواْ يُوْفَكُونَ

And on the Day that the Hour will be established, they will swear that they stayed not but an hour - thus were they ever deluded. (30;55)

قَـلَ كَمْ لَبِثْتُمْ فِى الاٌّرْضِ عَدَدَ سِنِينَ

قَالُواْ لَبِثْنَا يَوْماً أَوْ بَعْضَ يَوْمٍ فَاسْأَلِ الْعَأدِّينَ

قَالَ إِن لَّبِثْتُمْ إِلاَّ قَلِيلً لَّوْ أَنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ

He will say;"What number of years did you stay on earth!"

They will say;"We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep account."

He will say;"You stayed not but a little, if you had only known!" (23;112-114
