وَاِنْ كَادُوْا لَيَسْتَفِزُّوْنَكَ مِنَ الْاَرْضِ لِيُخْرِجُوْكَ مِنْهَا وَاِذًا لَّا يَلْبَثُوْنَ خِلٰفَكَ اِلَّا قَلِيْلًا  ( الإسراء: ٧٦ )

wa-in
وَإِن
And indeed
kādū
كَادُوا۟
they were about
layastafizzūnaka
لَيَسْتَفِزُّونَكَ
(to) scare you
mina
مِنَ
from
l-arḍi
ٱلْأَرْضِ
the land
liyukh'rijūka
لِيُخْرِجُوكَ
that they evict you
min'hā
مِنْهَاۖ
from it
wa-idhan
وَإِذًا
But then
لَّا
not
yalbathūna
يَلْبَثُونَ
they (would) have stayed
khilāfaka
خِلَٰفَكَ
after you
illā
إِلَّا
except
qalīlan
قَلِيلًا
a little

Wa in kaadoo la yastafizzoonaka minal ardi liyukhri jooka minhaa wa izal laa yalbasoona khilaafaka illaa qaleelaa (al-ʾIsrāʾ 17:76)

Sahih International:

And indeed, they were about to provoke [i.e., drive] you from the land [i.e., Makkah] to evict you therefrom. And then [when they do], they will not remain [there] after you, except for a little. (Al-Isra [17] : 76)

And they were likely to harass you in the land, so that they could expel you from there, and in that case, they will have not lived (there) after you, but a little.
