Maryam Verse 30

Jesus declared, “I am truly a servant of Allah. He has destined me to be given the Scripture and to be a prophet.

Jesus said, “I am a slave of Allah. He has given me the Scripture and made me a prophet.

He said, 'Lo, I am God's servant; God has given me the Book, and made me a Prophet.

[But] he said: ‘I am a servant of God. He has granted me the Scripture; made me a prophet;

He Said: verily I am a bondman of Allah; He hath vouchsafed me the Book and made me a prophet.

He said; "I am indeed a servant of Allah; He hath given me revelation and made me a prophet;

The child cried out: "Verily I am Allah's servant. He has granted me the Book and has made me a Prophet

"I am a servant of God," he answered. "He has given me a Book and made me a prophet,

The child proclaimed, “I am Allah’s bondman; He has given me the Book and made me a Herald of the Hidden (a Prophet).”

He said, ‘Indeed I am a servant of Allah! He has given me the Book and made me a prophet.

(The infant) said: "Surely I am ‘abdu’l-Lah (a servant of God). He (has already decreed that He) will give me the Book (the Gospel) and make me a Prophet.

(It came to pass that the son of Mary) said, `I am indeed a servant of Allâh, He has given me the Book, and made me a Prophet.

He said: "That I am God`s worshipper/slave, He gave/brought me The Book and He made me a prophet

The child proclaimed, "I am Allah’s bondman; He has given me the Book and made me a Herald of the Hidden (a Prophet)."

He (the baby) said, "Verily, I am a servant of Allah; He has brought me the Book (revelation), and He has made me a prophet

"He ['Iesa (Jesus)] said: Verily! I am a slave of Allah, He has given me the Scripture and made me a Prophet;"

But she pointed to him. They said: How should we speak to one who is a child in the cradle?

He said: Surely I am a servant of Allah; He has given me the Book and made me a prophet;

He spake: Lo! I am the slave of Allah. He hath given me the Scripture and hath appointed me a Prophet,

He said, "I am the servant of God. He has given me the Book and has appointed me to be a Prophet.

He (the baby) said: 'I am the worshiper of Allah. Allah has given me the Book and made me a Prophet.

He said: "Verily, I am a servant of Allah, He has given me the Scripture and made me a Prophet;"

[But] he said, "I am God's servant. He has given me the Book and made me a prophet;

He said, “I am the servant of God. He has given me the Scripture, and made me a prophet.

He said, `Lo! I am God's servant. He has given me the Scripture, namely, the Gospel, and made me a prophet.

قَالَ

He (`Isa) said,

إِنِّي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ

Verily, I am a servant of Allah,

The first thing that he said was a declaration of the lofty honor of his Lord and His being free of having a child. Also, he affirmed that he himself was a worshipper of his Lord.

Allah said,

اتَانِيَ الْكِتَابَ وَجَعَلَنِي نَبِيًّا



He has given me the Scripture and made me a Prophet.

This was a declaration of innocence for his mother from the immorality that was attributed to her.

Nawf Al-Bikali said,

"When they said what they said to his mother, he (`Isa) was nursing from her breast. At their statement he released the breast from his mouth and reclined on his left saying,
إِنِّي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ اتَانِيَ الْكِتَابَ وَجَعَلَنِي نَبِيًّا
(Verily, I am a servant of Allah, He has given me the Scripture and made me a Prophet). And he continued speaking until he said,
مَا دُمْتُ حَيًّا
(as long as I live)."

Concerning his statement

I am", said the babe -Isa- "a devout servant of Allah Who shall entrust me with His Book -the Bible- and confer on me the prerogative of Prophethood
