Al-Baqarah Verse 18

They are ˹wilfully˺ deaf, dumb, and blind, so they will never return ˹to the Right Path˺.

Deaf, dumb, and blind; they will not return [to the straight path].

deaf, dumb, blind -- so they shall not return;

deaf, dumb, and blind: they will never return.

Deaf, dumb, blind; wherefore they will not return.

Deaf, dumb, and blind, they will not return (to the path).

They are deaf; they are dumb; they are blind so they will not return (to the right way).

They are deaf, dumb and blind, and shall never return;

Deaf, dumb and blind; and they are not to return.

Deaf, dumb, and blind, they will not come back.

They are utterly deaf, dumb, and blind; they can no longer recover.

(They are) deaf, dumb, (and) blind, so they will not return (to the right path).

Deaf, mute, blind , so they do not return.

Deaf, dumb and blind; and they are not to return.

Deaf, dumb, blind, and they shall not return!

They are deaf, dumb, and blind, so they return not (to the Right Path).

Deaf, dumb, (and) blind, so they return not:

Deaf, dumb (and) blind, so they will not turn back.

Deaf, dumb and blind; and they return not.

They are deaf, blind, and dumb and cannot regain their senses.

Deaf, dumb, and blind, they shall never return.

They are deaf, dumb, and blind, so they return not (to the right path).

deaf, dumb, and blind: they will never return [to the right path].

Deaf, dumb, blind. They will not return.

deaf, to the truth, so that they cannot hear it and accept it; dumb, mute as regards goodness, unable to speak of it; and, blind, to the path of guidance, so that they cannot perceive it; they shall not return, from error.

They are deaf, dumb, and blind, so they return not (to the right path).

صُمٌّ
(deaf),

and thus cannot hear the guidance.

بُكْمٌ
(dumb),

and cannot utter the words that might benefit them.

عُمْيٌ
(and blind),

in total darkness and deviation.

Similarly, Allah said,

فَإِنَّهَا لَا تَعْمَى الاٌّبْصَـرُ وَلَـكِن تَعْمَى الْقُلُوبُ الَّتِى فِى الصُّدُورِ

Verily, it is not the eyes that grow blind, but it is the hearts which are in the breasts that grow blind. (22;46),

and this why they cannot get back to the state of guidance that they were in, since they sold it for misguidance
