Al-Anbya Verse 95

It is impossible for a society which We have destroyed to ever rise again,

It is not possible for any town that We have destroyed to ever come back [to this world],

There is a ban upon any city that We have destroyed; they shall not return

No community destroyed by Us can escape its return,

And a ban is laid on every town which We have destroyed, that they Shall not return.

But there is a ban on any population which We have destroyed; that they shall not return,

It has been ordained against every town that We ever destroyed that they shall not return (to enjoy a new lease of life)

It is imperative that a habitation We have destroyed will not desist (from unbelief)

And it is forbidden for any township which We have destroyed, that they may return. (Once the disbelievers face death, their return to earth is impossible.)

It is forbidden for [the people of] any town that We have destroyed [to return to the world]: they shall not return,

It is inconceivable that a community, the destruction of which We have decreed (because of their unbelief and irremediable sins), could return to faith, (nor a community which We destroyed should not come back to Us and then be returned to the world again so that they could believe and do good deeds).

And it is not permissible to (the people of) a township whom We have destroyed to come back (to life of this world).

And forbidden on a village/urban city We made it die/destroyed it , that they do not return.

And it is forbidden for any township which We have destroyed, that they may return. (Once the disbelievers face death, their return to earth is impossible.)

And he who acts right and he who is a believer (or has faith), there is no denial of his efforts, for, verily, We record it for him.

And a ban is laid on every town (population) which We have destroyed that they shall not return (to this world again, nor repent to Us).

So whoever does good deeds and is a believer, there is no rejection of his effort, and We surely write (it) down for him.

And it is binding on a town which We destroy that they shall not return.

And there is a ban upon any community which We have destroyed: that they shall not return.

The people whom We destroyed can never return to this world

(It is ordained that) no village We have destroyed shall return

And a ban is laid on every town which We have destroyed that they shall not return.

It is ordained that no nation We have destroyed shall ever rise again,

There is a ban on the town that We had destroyed—that they will not return.

It is forbidden for any town, meaning [it is forbidden for] its people, which We have destroyed that they should (l yarji`na; the l is extra) return, that is, their return to this world is prohibited.

Those who have been destroyed, will never return to this World

Allah tells;

وَحَرَامٌ عَلَى قَرْيَةٍ أَهْلَكْنَاهَا أَنَّهُمْ لَا يَرْجِعُونَ



And a ban is laid on every town which We have destroyed that they shall not return.

وَحَرَامٌ عَلَى قَرْيَةٍ


And a ban is laid on every town.

Ibn Abbas said,

"it is enforced", i.e., it has been decreed that the people of each township that has been destroyed will never return to this world before the Day of Resurrection, as is reported clearly (through other narrations) from Ibn Abbas, Abu Ja`far Al-Baqir, Qatadah and others.
