Al-Furqan Verse 26

True authority on that Day will belong ˹only˺ to the Most Compassionate.[[ Some people (like kings and rulers) have some sort of authority in this world. But on Judgment Day Allah will be the sole authority. ]] And it will be a hard day for the disbelievers.

The true dominion on that Day belongs to the Most Compassionate, and it will be a hard day for the disbelievers.

the Kingdom that day, the true Kingdom, shall belong to the All-merciful and it shall be a day harsh for the unbelievers.

on that Day, true authority belongs to the Lord of Mercy. It will be a grievous Day for the disbelievers.

The dominion on that Day rhall is; be the true dominion, of the Compassionate, l and it shall be anday upon the infidels hard.

That Day, the dominion as of right and truth, shall be (wholly) for (Allah) Most Merciful; it will be a Day of dire difficulty for the misbelievers.

The real Kingdom on that Day will belong only to the Merciful, and it will be a very hard Day for the disbelievers.

The real sovereignty will belong to Ar-Rahman. How grievous will be the day for the infidels!

The true kingship on that day belongs to the Most Gracious; and that is hard for the disbelievers.

on that day true sovereignty will belong to the All-beneficent, and it will be a hard day for the faithless.

The sovereignty on that Day will absolutely and belong to the All-Merciful, (which He will exercise then with no intermediary veil of cause and effect). It will be a hard day for the unbelievers.

The true sovereignty that day shall belong only to the Most Gracious (God) and it shall be really a (very) hard day for the disbelievers.

The ownership/kingdom, the truth (on) that day (is) to the merciful, and (it) was on the disbelievers a difficult/distressing day/time .

The true kingship on that day belongs to the Most Gracious; and that is hard for the disbelievers.

The day the heavens shall be cleft asunder with the clouds, and the angels shall be sent down, descending in ranks.

The sovereignty on that Day will be the true (sovereignty), belonging to the Most Beneficent (Allah), and it will be a hard Day for the disbelievers (those who disbelieve in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism).

And on the day when the heaven burst asunder with clouds, and the angels are sent down, as they are sent.

The kingdom on that day shall rightly belong to the Beneficent Allah, and a hard day shall it be for the unbelievers.

The Sovereignty on that day will be the True (Sovereignty) belonging to the Beneficent One, and it will be a hard day for disbelievers.

and the Absolute kingdom will belong to the Beneficent God.

the true Kingdom on that Day shall belong to the Merciful a harsh day for the unbelievers.

The sovereignty on that Day will be the true (sovereignty) of the Most Gracious, and it will be a hard Day for the disbelievers.

true sovereignty on that Day will belong to the Gracious One, and it will be a hard Day for those who deny the truth.

On that Day, true sovereignty will belong to the Merciful, and it will be a difficult Day for the disbelievers.

true Sovereignty on that day will belong to the Compassionate One, with no one else sharing it with Him, and it, that day, will be a hard day for the disbelievers, in contrast to the believers.

الْمُلْكُ يَوْمَيِذٍ الْحَقُّ لِلرَّحْمَنِ

The sovereignty on that Day will be the true (sovereignty) of the Most Gracious,

This is like the Ayah,

لِّمَنِ الْمُلْكُ الْيَوْمَ لِلَّهِ الْوَحِدِ الْقَهَّارِ

Whose is the kingdom this Day;It is Allah's, the One, the Irresistible! (40;16)

In the Sahih it says;

أَنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَى يَطْوِي السَّمَوَاتِ بِيَمِينِهِ وَيَأْخُذُ الاَْرَضِينَ بِيَدِهِ الاُْخْرَى ثُمَّ يَقُولُ

أَنَا الْمَلِكُ أَنَا الدَّيَّانُ أَيْنَ مُلُوكُ الاَْرْضِ


أَيْنَ الْجَبَّارُونَ
أَيْنَ الْمُتَكَبِّرُونَ


Allah, may He be exalted, will fold up the heavens in His Right Hand, and will take the earths in His other Hand, then He will say;

"I am the Sovereign, I am the Judge.

Where are the kings of the earth?

Where are the tyrants Where are the arrogant?"

وَكَانَ يَوْمًا عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ عَسِيرًا



and it will be a hard Day for the disbelievers.

means it will be very difficult, because it will be the Day of justice and the decisive judgement, as Allah says;

فَذَلِكَ يَوْمَيِذٍ يَوْمٌ عَسِيرٌ

عَلَى الْكَـفِرِينَ غَيْرُ يَسِيرٍ

Truly, that Day will be a hard Day -- Far from easy for the disbelievers! (74;9-10)

This is how the disbelievers will be on the Day of Resurrection.

As for the believers, Allah says;

لَا يَحْزُنُهُمُ الْفَزَعُ الااٌّكْبَرُ

The greatest terror will not grieve them.

Then Allah says;

وَيَوْمَ يَعَضُّ الظَّالِمُ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ يَقُولُ يَا لَيْتَنِي اتَّخَذْتُ مَعَ الرَّسُولِ سَبِيلً
