يٰوَيْلَتٰى لَيْتَنِيْ لَمْ اَتَّخِذْ فُلَانًا خَلِيْلًا ( الفرقان: ٢٨ )

يَٰوَيْلَتَىٰ
O woe to me!
laytanī
لَيْتَنِى
I wish
lam
لَمْ
not
attakhidh
أَتَّخِذْ
I had taken
fulānan
فُلَانًا
that one
khalīlan
خَلِيلًا
(as) a friend
Yaa wailataa laitanee lam attakhiz fulaanan khaleelaa (al-Furq̈ān 25:28)
Sahih International:
Oh, woe to me! I wish I had not taken that one as a friend. (Al-Furqan [25] : 28)
