Ash-Shu'ara Verse 120

Then afterwards We drowned the rest.

Then We drowned thereafter all the rest.

Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind.

And drowned the rest of them.

Then after it, We drowned the rest.

And then, following their rescue, We caused the rest to drown.

Then after that We drowned the remaining ones.

Then We drowned/sunk after (that) the remainders.

Then after it, We drowned the rest.

So We saved him and those with him in the laden ark,

Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter.

So judge Thou between me and them openly, and deliver me and the believers who are with me.

Then afterwards, after We delivered them, We drowned the rest, of his people.

And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. Then We drowned the rest thereafter.

The "laden ship" is one that is filled with cargo and the couples, one pair from every species, that were carried in it.

This Ayah means;

`We saved Nuh and all of those who followed him, and We drowned those who disbelieved in him and went against his commands, all of them.'

إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَايَةً وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّوْمِنِينَ
