اِنَّا نَطْمَعُ اَنْ يَّغْفِرَ لَنَا رَبُّنَا خَطٰيٰنَآ اَنْ كُنَّآ اَوَّلَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ ۗ ࣖ ( الشعراء: ٥١ )

Indeed we

نَطْمَعُ

yaghfira
يَغْفِرَ
will forgive
lanā
لَنَا
us
rabbunā
رَبُّنَا
our Lord
khaṭāyānā
خَطَٰيَٰنَآ
our sins

أَن
because
kunnā
كُنَّآ
we are
awwala
أَوَّلَ
(the) first
l-mu'minīna
ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
(of) the believers"
Innaa natma'u ai yaghfira lanaa Rabbunna khataa yaanaaa an kunnaaa awwalal mu'mineen (aš-Šuʿarāʾ 26:51)
Sahih International:
Indeed, we aspire that our Lord will forgive us our sins because we were the first of the believers." (Ash-Shu'ara [26] : 51)
