Ash-Shu'ara Verse 84

Bless me with honourable mention among later generations.[[ On a daily basis, Muslims invoke Allah’s blessings upon Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ) and his family and Prophet Abraham (ﷺ) and his family, in both obligatory and optional prayers.]]

and grant me an honorable mention among the later generations,

and appoint me a tongue of truthfulness among the others.

give me a good name among later generations;

And appoint for me an honourable mention among the posterity

"Grant me honourable mention on the tongue of truth among the latest (generations);

and grant me an honourable reputation among posterity,

And uphold my name with posterity,

“And give me proper fame among the succeeding generations.”

Confer on me a worthy repute among the posterity,

"And grant me a most true and virtuous renown among posterity.

`And ordain for me a noble, true and lasting reputation among posterity;

And make/put for me (a) truth`s tongue/speech in the ends/lasts/others

“And give me proper fame among the succeeding generations.”

And give me a good report amongst the later generations

And grant me an honourable mention in later generations;

And Who, I hope, will forgive me my mistakes on the day of Judgment.

And ordain for me a goodly mention among posterity

And give unto me a good report in later generations.

Make my words come true in the future.

And appoint me a tongue of truthfulness among the latter.

And grant me an honorable mention in later generations.

give me a good name among later generations;

And give me a reputation of truth among the others.

And confer on me a worthy repute, excellent praise, among posterity, those who will come after me up to the Day of Resurrection.

And grant me an honorable mention in later generations.

meaning, `cause me to be remembered in a good manner after my death, so that I will be spoken of and taken as a good example.'

This is like the Ayah,

وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِى الاٌّخِرِينَ

سَلَـمٌ عَلَى إِبْرَهِيمَ

كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِى الْمُحْسِنِينَ

And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among the later generations;

"Salam (peace) be upon Ibrahim. Thus indeed do we reward the good doers. (37;108-110)

وَاجْعَلْنِي مِن وَرَثَةِ جَنَّةِ النَّعِيمِ

And furnish me O Allah, my Creator, with a civil tongue uttering the truth that guides into all truth and is believed among posterity
