فَلَمَّا جَاۤءَ سُلَيْمٰنَ قَالَ اَتُمِدُّوْنَنِ بِمَالٍ فَمَآ اٰتٰىنِ َۧ اللّٰهُ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّآ اٰتٰىكُمْۚ بَلْ اَنْتُمْ بِهَدِيَّتِكُمْ تَفْرَحُوْنَ   ( النمل: ٣٦ )

falammā
فَلَمَّا
So when
jāa
جَآءَ
came
sulaymāna
سُلَيْمَٰنَ
(to) Sulaiman
qāla
قَالَ
he said
atumiddūnani
أَتُمِدُّونَنِ
"Will you provide me
bimālin
بِمَالٍ
with wealth?
famā
فَمَآ
But what
ātāniya
ءَاتَىٰنِۦَ
Allah has given me
l-lahu
ٱللَّهُ
Allah has given me
khayrun
خَيْرٌ
(is) better
mimmā
مِّمَّآ
than what
ātākum
ءَاتَىٰكُم
He has given you
bal
بَلْ
Nay
antum
أَنتُم
you
bihadiyyatikum
بِهَدِيَّتِكُمْ
in your gift
tafraḥūna
تَفْرَحُونَ
rejoice

Falammaa jaaa'a Sulaimaana qaala atumiddoonani bimaalin famaaa aataaniyal laahu khairum mimmmaaa aataakum bal antum bihadiy-yatikum tafrahoon (an-Naml 27:36)

Sahih International:

So when they came to Solomon, he said, "Do you provide me with wealth? But what Allah has given me is better than what He has given you. Rather, it is you who rejoice in your gift. (An-Naml [27] : 36)

1 Mufti Taqi Usmani

So when he (the envoy) came to Sulaimān, he said, “Are you extending a financial aid to me? So what Allah has given me is much better than what He has given to you. But you yourselves are proud of your gift.
