طسٓۚ
Ta Seen
تِلْكَ
These
ءَايَٰتُ
(are the) Verses
ٱلْقُرْءَانِ
(of) the Quran
وَكِتَابٍ
and a Book
مُّبِينٍ
clear

Taa-Seeen; tilka Aayaatul Qur-aani wa Kitaabim Mubeen

Ta, Seen. These are the verses of the Quran [i.e., recitation] and a clear Book.

Tafsir

هُدًى
A guidance
وَبُشْرَىٰ
and glad tidings
لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
for the believers

Hudanw wa bushraa lil mu'mineen

As guidance and good tidings for the believers.

Tafsir

ٱلَّذِينَ
Those who
يُقِيمُونَ
establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
the prayer
وَيُؤْتُونَ
and give
ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ
zakah
وَهُم
and they
بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ
in the Hereafter
هُمْ
[they]
يُوقِنُونَ
believe with certainty

Allazeena yuqeemoonas Salaata wa yu'toonaz Zakaata wa hum bil Aakhirati hum yooqinoon

Who establish prayer and give Zakah, and of the Hereafter they are certain [in faith].

Tafsir

إِنَّ
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
لَا
(do) not
يُؤْمِنُونَ
believe
بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ
in the Hereafter
زَيَّنَّا
We have made fair-seeming
لَهُمْ
to them
أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ
their deeds
فَهُمْ
so they
يَعْمَهُونَ
wander blindly

Innal lazeena laa yu'mimoona bil Aakhirati zaiyannaa lahum a'maalahum fahum ya'mahoon

Indeed, for those who do not believe in the Hereafter, We have made pleasing to them their deeds, so they wander blindly.

Tafsir

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
Those
ٱلَّذِينَ
(are) the ones
لَهُمْ
for them
سُوٓءُ
(is) an evil
ٱلْعَذَابِ
[the] punishment
وَهُمْ
and they
فِى
in
ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ
the Hereafter
هُمُ
[they]
ٱلْأَخْسَرُونَ
(will be) the greatest losers

Ulaaa'ikal lazeena lahum sooo'ul 'azaabi wa hum fil Aakhirati humul akhsaroon

Those are the ones for whom there will be the worst of punishment, and in the Hereafter they are the greatest losers.

Tafsir

وَإِنَّكَ
And indeed, you
لَتُلَقَّى
surely, receive
ٱلْقُرْءَانَ
the Quran
مِن
from [near]
لَّدُنْ
from [near]
حَكِيمٍ
the All-Wise
عَلِيمٍ
the All-Knower

Wa innaka latulaqqal Qur-aana mil ladun Hakeemin 'Aleem

And indeed, [O Muhammad], you receive the Quran from one Wise and Knowing.

Tafsir

إِذْ
When
قَالَ
said
مُوسَىٰ
Musa
لِأَهْلِهِۦٓ
to his family
إِنِّىٓ
"Indeed I
ءَانَسْتُ
perceive
نَارًا
a fire
سَـَٔاتِيكُم
I will bring you
مِّنْهَا
from it
بِخَبَرٍ
some information
أَوْ
or
ءَاتِيكُم
I will bring you
بِشِهَابٍ
a torch
قَبَسٍ
burning
لَّعَلَّكُمْ
so that you may
تَصْطَلُونَ
warm yourselves"

Iz qaala Moosaa li ahliheee inneee aanastu naaran saaateekum minhaa bikhabarin aw aateekum bishihaabin qabasil la'allakum tastaloon

[Mention] when Moses said to his family, "Indeed, I have perceived a fire. I will bring you from there information or will bring you a burning torch that you may warm yourselves."

Tafsir

فَلَمَّا
But when
جَآءَهَا
he came to it
نُودِىَ
he was called
أَنۢ
[that]
بُورِكَ
"Blessed is
مَن
who
فِى
(is) at
ٱلنَّارِ
the fire
وَمَنْ
and whoever
حَوْلَهَا
(is) around it
وَسُبْحَٰنَ
And glory be
ٱللَّهِ
(to) Allah
رَبِّ
(the) Lord
ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
(of) the worlds

Falammaa jaaa'ahaa noodiya am boorika man finnnnaari wa man hawlahaa wa Subhaanal laahi Rabbil 'aalameen

But when he came to it, he was called, "Blessed is whoever is at the fire and whoever is around it. And exalted is Allah, Lord of the worlds.

Tafsir

يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ
O Musa!
إِنَّهُۥٓ
Indeed
أَنَا
I Am
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
ٱلْعَزِيزُ
the All-Mighty
ٱلْحَكِيمُ
the All-Wise"

Yaa Moosaaa innahooo Anal laahul 'Azeezul Hakeem

O Moses, indeed it is I – Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise."

Tafsir

وَأَلْقِ
And Throw
عَصَاكَۚ
your staff"
فَلَمَّا
But when
رَءَاهَا
he saw it
تَهْتَزُّ
moving
كَأَنَّهَا
as if it
جَآنٌّ
(were) a snake
وَلَّىٰ
he turned back
مُدْبِرًا
(in) flight
وَلَمْ
and (did) not
يُعَقِّبْۚ
look back
يَٰمُوسَىٰ
"O Musa!
لَا
(Do) not
تَخَفْ
fear
إِنِّى
Indeed [I]
لَا
(do) not
يَخَافُ
fear
لَدَىَّ
(in) My presence
ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ
the Messengers

Wa alqi 'asaak; falammmaa ra aahaa tahtazzu ka annahaa jaaannunw wallaa mudbiranw wa lam yu'aqqib; yaa Moosaa laa takhaf innee laa yakhaafu ladaiyal mursaloon

And [he was told], "Throw down your staff." But when he saw it writhing as if it were a snake, he turned in flight and did not return. [Allah said], "O Moses, fear not. Indeed, in My presence the messengers do not fear.
