An-Naml Verse 55

Do you really lust after men instead of women? In fact, you are ˹only˺ a people acting ignorantly.”

Do you approach men with lust instead of women? In fact, you are an ignorant people!”

What, do you approach men lustfully instead of women? No, you are a people that are ignorant.'

How can you lust after men instead of women? What fools you are!’

Would ye go in lustfully unto men instead of women? Aye! ye are a people addicted to ignorant ways.

Would ye really approach men in your lusts rather than women? Nay, ye are a people (grossly) ignorant!

Do you lustfully approach men instead of women? Nay, you engage in acts of sheer ignorance."

You lust after men in place of women. You are indeed a stolid people."

“What! You lustfully go towards men, leaving the women?! In fact, you are an ignorant people.”

Do you approach men with [sexual] desire instead of women?! Indeed, you are a senseless lot!’

"Will you go with lust to men in place of women? You are indeed an ignorant people with no sense (of decency and right and wrong).

`What! (is it true) you approach men instead of (your) women to satisfy (your) lust? Nay, you are indeed a people who act senselessly.´

Are you that you are coming/doing/committing (E) the men (with) a lust/desire/craving from other than the women, but you are a nation being lowly/ignorant .

“What! You lustfully go towards men, leaving the women?! In fact, you are an ignorant people.”

And Lot when he said to his people, "Do you commit abomination knowingly?

"Do you approach men in your lusts rather than women? Nay, but you are a people who behave senselessly."

And We delivered those who believed and kept their duty.

What! do you indeed approach men lustfully rather than women? Nay, you are a people who act ignorantly.

Must ye needs lust after men instead of women? Nay, but ye are folk who act senselessly.

Do you have carnal relations with men rather than women? You are ignorant people".

Do you approach men lustfully instead of women! No, you are an ignorant nation'

"Do you practice your lusts on men instead of women Nay, but you are a people who behave senselessly."

Must you go lustfully to men instead of women? Indeed, you are a people who are deeply ignorant."

Do you lust after men instead of women? You are truly ignorant people.”

What! Do you (read a-innakum, pronouncing both hamzas, or by not pronouncing the second and inserting an alif between the two in both cases) come unto men in lust instead of women? Nay, but you are truly a people in ignorance', of the consequence of your action.

Do you practice your lusts on men instead of women!

Nay, but you are a people who behave senselessly.

means, `you do not know anything of what is natural or what is prescribed by Allah.'

This is like the Ayah;

أَتَأْتُونَ الذُّكْرَانَ مِنَ الْعَـلَمِينَ

وَتَذَرُونَ مَا خَلَقَ لَكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ مِّنْ أَزْوَجِكُمْ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ عَادُونَ

Go you in unto the males of mankind, and leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your wives.

Nay, you are a trespassing people! (26;165-166)

فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِ إِلاَّ أَن قَالُوا أَخْرِجُوا الَ لُوطٍ مِّن قَرْيَتِكُمْ إِنَّهُمْ أُنَاسٌ يَتَطَهَّرُونَ
