وَمَآ اَنْتَ بِهٰدِ الْعُمْيِ عَنْ ضَلٰلَتِهِمْۗ اِنْ تُسْمِعُ اِلَّا مَنْ يُّؤْمِنُ بِاٰيٰتِنَا فَهُمْ مُّسْلِمُوْنَ ࣖ  ( الروم: ٥٣ )

wamā
وَمَآ
And not

أَنتَ
you
bihādi
بِهَٰدِ
can guide
l-ʿum'yi
ٱلْعُمْىِ
the blind
ʿan
عَن
from
ḍalālatihim
ضَلَٰلَتِهِمْۖ
their error
in
إِن
Not
tus'miʿu
تُسْمِعُ
you can make hear
illā
إِلَّا
except
man
مَن
(those) who
yu'minu
يُؤْمِنُ
believe
biāyātinā
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
in Our Verses
fahum
فَهُم
so they
mus'limūna
مُّسْلِمُونَ
surrender

Wa maa anta bihaadil 'umyi 'an dalaalatihim in tusmi'u illaa mai yuminu bi aayaatinaa fahum muslimoon (ar-Rūm 30:53)

Sahih International:

And you cannot guide the blind away from their error. You will only make hear those who believe in Our verses so they are Muslims [in submission to Allah]. (Ar-Rum [30] : 53)

1 Mufti Taqi Usmani

Nor are you (able) to show the right path to the blind against their straying. You can make none to listen except those who believe in Our signs, hence they submit.
