قُلْ لَّنْ يَّنْفَعَكُمُ الْفِرَارُ اِنْ فَرَرْتُمْ مِّنَ الْمَوْتِ اَوِ الْقَتْلِ وَاِذًا لَّا تُمَتَّعُوْنَ اِلَّا قَلِيْلًا   ( الأحزاب: ١٦ )

أَوِ

l-qatli
ٱلْقَتْلِ
killing
wa-idhan
وَإِذًا
and then
لَّا
not
tumattaʿūna
تُمَتَّعُونَ
you will be allowed to enjoy
illā
إِلَّا
except
qalīlan
قَلِيلًا
a little"

Qul lany y anfa'akumul firaaru in farartum minal mawti awil qatli wa izal laa tumatta'oona illaa qaleelaa (al-ʾAḥzāb 33:16)

Sahih International:

Say, [O Muhammad], "Never will fleeing benefit you if you should flee from death or killing; and then [if you did], you would not be given enjoyment [of life] except for a little." (Al-Ahzab [33] : 16)

1 Mufti Taqi Usmani

Say, “Flight will never be of any use to you, if you flee from death or killing, and even then you will not be left to enjoy (life) but for a little while.”
