Ghafir Verse 38

And the man who believed urged, “O my people! Follow me, ˹and˺ I will lead you to the Way of Guidance.

The man who believed said, “O my people, follow me, I will guide you to the right way.

Then said he who believed, 'My people, follow me, and I will guide you in the way of rectitude.

The believer said, ‘My people, follow me! I will guide you to the right path.

And he who believed said: O my people! follow me, I shall guide you to the path of rectitude,

The man who believed said further; "O my people! Follow me; I will lead you to the Path of Right.

The person endowed with faith said: “My people, follow me; I shall direct you to the Path of Rectitude.

The man who believed said: "O my people, follow me; I will guide you to the right path.

And the believer said, “O my people! Follow me, I shall show you the way of righteousness.”

And he who had faith said, ‘O my people! Follow me; I will guide you to the way of rectitude.

And the one who believed said (continuing his warnings): "O my people! Follow me so that I may guide you to the way of right guidance.

And he who had believed (in Moses from the people of Pharaoh) said, `O my people! follow me and I will guide you in the way of rectitude.

And who believed said: "You my nation, follow me, I guide you the correct/right guidance`s way/path."

And the believer said, “O my people! Follow me, I shall show you the way of righteousness.”

And he who believed said, "O my people! Follow me; I will guide you to the Right Way;

And the man who believed said: "O my people! Follow me, I will guide you to the way of right conduct [i.e. guide you to Allah's religion of Islamic Monotheism with which Musa (Moses) has been sent].

The means of access to the heavens, then reach the God of Moses, and I surely think him to be a liar. And thus the evil of his deed was made fair-seeming to Pharaoh, and he was turned aside from the way. And the plot of Pharaoh ended in naught but ruin.

And he who believed said: O my people! follow me, I will guide you to the right course;

And he who believed said: O my people! Follow me. I will show you the way of right conduct.

The believing man said, "My people, follow me and I shall show you the right guidance.

He who was a believer said: 'Follow me, my nation, so that I may guide you to the Right Path.

And the man who believed said: "O my people! Follow me, I will guide you to the way of right conduct."

The believer said, "My people, follow me! I will guide you to the right path.

The one who had believed said, “O my people, follow me, and I will guide you to the path of rectitude.”

And he who believed, `O my people! Follow me (read ittabi`n, with the [final long] y', or ittabi`ni, without); I will guide you to the way of rectitude ([a similar statement] has already been mentioned [verse 29, above]).

More of what the Believer from Fir`awn's Family said

Allah tells that,

وَقَالَ الَّذِي امَنَ

And the man who believed said;

This believer said to his people who persisted in their rebellion and transgression, and preferred the life of this world;

يَا قَوْمِ اتَّبِعُونِ أَهْدِكُمْ سَبِيلَ الرَّشَادِ



O my people! Follow me, I will guide you to the way of right conduct.

This is in contrast to the false claim of Fir`awn;
وَمَا أَهْدِيكُمْ إِلاَّ سَبِيلَ الرَّشَادِ
(and I guide you only to the path of right policy). (40;29)

Then he sought to make them shun this world which they preferred to the Hereafter, and which had prevented them from believing in the Messenger of Allah, Musa, peace be upon him.

He said
