Ad-Dukhan Verse 28

So it was. And We awarded it ˹all˺ to another people.

So it was; and We made another people inherit all that.

Even so; and We bequeathed them upon another people.

We gave these to another people to inherit.

Even so And We caused to inherit them another people.

Thus (was their end)! And We made other people inherit (those things)!

Thus it was; and We made another people inherit all that.

Thus it was; and We passed them on to another people.

That is what We did; and We made another nation their heirs.

So it was; and We bequeathed them to another people.

Just so! And We made another people heirs (to the bounties they enjoyed).

That is how it shall happen (now with the rejecters of the prophet). And We gave all such things to another people.

Like that, and We made it be inherited (by) a nation (of) others .

That is what We did; and We made another nation their heirs.

Thus it was, and We gave them as a heritage to another people.

Thus (it was)! And We made other people inherit them (i.e. We made the Children of Israel to inherit the kingdom of Egypt).

And goodly things wherein they rejoiced!

Thus (it was), and We gave them as a heritage to another people.

Even so (it was), and We made it an inheritance for other folk;

We gave these as an inheritance to other people.

As such (it was). And We made other people inherit them.

Thus (it was)! And We made other people inherit them.

Such was their end, and what had been theirs We gave to other people to inherit.

So it was; and We passed it on to another people.

So [it was] (kadhlika is the predicate of a subject [that is missing], such as `the matter was [so]') and We made these an inheritance, that is to say, their riches, for another people, namely, the Children of Israel.

Thus (it was)!

And We made other people inherit them. (namely the Children of Israel)
