Al-Hashr Verse 13

Indeed, there is more fear in their hearts for you ˹believers˺ than for Allah. That is because they are a people who do not comprehend.

Indeed, your fear in their hearts is greater than their fear of Allah. That is because they are a people devoid of understanding.

Why, you arouse greater fear in their hearts than God; that is because they are a people who understand not.

Fear of you [believers] is more intense in their hearts than fear of God because they are people devoid of understanding.

Surely ye are more awful in their breasts than Allah. That is because they are a people who understand not.

Of a truth ye are stronger (than they) because of the terror in their hearts, (sent) by Allah. This is because they are men devoid of understanding.

Surely they have greater dread for you in their hearts than for Allah. That is because they are a people who are devoid of understanding.

Surely they have greater fear of you in their hearts than of God, because they do not understand.

Indeed in their hearts is a greater fear of you than that of Allah; this is because they are a people who do not understand.

Indeed they have a greater awe of you in their hearts than of Allah. That is because they are a lot who do not understand.

The dread they have of you in their hearts is more intense than their fear of God. This is because they are a people who are devoid of understanding and so cannot grasp the truth.

(Muslims!) the truth is that you are (held) in a greater fear than (these hypocrites hold of) Allâh. That is because they are a people who are devoid of (all) reason.

You are (E) stronger terror/fright in their chests (innermosts) than God, that (is) with that they (are) a nation not understanding/knowing .

Indeed in their hearts is a greater fear of you than that of Allah; this is because they are a people who do not understand.

Truly, You are a greater source of terror than Allah in their heart (or you are greater than them because of the terror in their heart sent by Allah); that is because they are a people who do not understand

Verily, you (believers in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism) are more awful as a fear in their (Jews of Bani An-Nadir) breasts than Allah. That is because they are a people who comprehend not (the Majesty and Power of Allah).

If they are expelled, they will not go forth with them, and if they are fought against, they will not help them; and even if they help them, they will certainly turn (their) backs; then they shall not be helped.

You are certainly greater in being feared in their hearts than Allah; that is because they are a people who do not understand

Ye are more awful as a fear in their bosoms than Allah. That is because they are a folk who understand not.

They are more afraid of you than of God. They are a people who lack understanding.

Their fear of you in their hearts is greater than their fear of Allah; that is because they are a people who do not understand.

Verily, you are more fearful in their breasts than Allah. That is because they are a people who comprehend not.

They are more in dread of you than of God, because they are people devoid of understanding.

Fear of you is more intense in their hearts than fear of God. That is because they are a people who do not understand.

You indeed arouse greater awe, fear, in their hearts, that is, [the hearts of] the hypocrites, than God -- [but only] because He has deferred His chastisement [to the Hereafter]. That is because they are a people who do not comprehend.

لَاأَنتُمْ أَشَدُّ رَهْبَةً فِي صُدُورِهِم مِّنَ اللَّهِ

Verily, you are more fearful in their breasts than Allah.

meaning, the hypocrites fear you more than they fear Allah,

as He says;

إِذَا فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُمْ يَخْشَوْنَ النَّاسَ كَخَشْيَةِ اللَّهِ أَوْ أَشَدَّ خَشْيَةً

Behold! a section of them fear men as they fear Allah or even more. (4;77)

This is why Allah said,

ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لاَّ يَفْقَهُونَ



That is because they are a people who comprehend not.

Allah then said
