اِنَّمَا نُطْعِمُكُمْ لِوَجْهِ اللّٰهِ لَا نُرِيْدُ مِنْكُمْ جَزَاۤءً وَّلَا شُكُوْرًا ( الانسان: ٩ )

we feed you
liwajhi
لِوَجْهِ
for (the) Countenance
l-lahi
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah

Not
nurīdu
نُرِيدُ
we desire
minkum
مِنكُمْ
from you
jazāan
جَزَآءً
any reward
walā
وَلَا
and not
shukūran
شُكُورًا
thanks
Innaamaa nut'imukum li wajhil laahi laa nureedu minkum jazaaa'anw wa laa shukooraa (al-ʾInsān 76:9)
Sahih International:
[Saying], "We feed you only for the face [i.e., approval] of Allah. We wish not from you reward or gratitude. (Al-Insan [76] : 9)
1 Mufti Taqi Usmani
(saying to them,) “We feed you only for the sake of Allah; we have no intention of (receiving) either a return from you or thanks.
