An-Nazi'at Verse 25

So Allah overtook him, making him an example in this life and the next.

So Allah seized him for an exemplary punishment in this life and in the Hereafter.

So God seized him with the chastisement of the Last World and the First.

so God condemned him to punishment in the life to come as well as in this life:

Wherefore Allah laid hold of him with the punishment of the Hereafter and of the present.

But Allah did punish him, (and made an) example of him, - in the Hereafter, as in this life.

Thereupon Allah seized him for the chastisement of the World to Come as well as of the present.

So God seized him for the punishment of the Hereafter and this world.

Allah therefore seized him, in the punishment of this world and the Hereafter.

So Allah seized him with the punishment of this life and the Hereafter.

And so God seized him and made an example of him, of punishment in the later and the earlier (life).

So Allâh seized him for the punishment of (both) the next and the present life.

So God punished/took him (the) severe exemplary punishment (of) the end (other life) and the first/beginning.

Allah therefore seized him, in the punishment of this world and the Hereafter.

So Allah seized him with the punishment of the Hereafter and the former life.

So Allah, seized him with punishment for his last [i.e. his saying: "I am your lord, most high") (see Verse 79:24)] and first [(i.e. his saying, "O chiefs! I know not that you have a god other than I" (see Verse 28:38)] transgression.

Surely there is in this a lesson for him who fears.

So Allah seized him with the punishment of the hereafter and the former life.

So Allah seized him (and made him) an example for the after (life) and for the former.

So God struck him with the torment of this life and the life hereafter.

So Allah seized him with the punishment of the Everlasting Life, and of this world.

So Allah seized him with punishing example for the Hereafter and the first (life).

but God seized him and meted out to him the chastisement of both the next world and the present:

So God seized him with an exemplary punishment, in the last and in the first.

So God seized him, He destroyed him by drowning him, as punishment for the latter, that is to say, these [last] words [of his], and for the former, that is to say, his saying previously, `I do not know of any god for you other than me' [Q. 28;38] -- and between the two [claims made by Pharaoh] was an interval of forty years.

So Allah seized him with a punishing example for the Hereafter and the first (life).

meaning, Allah avenged Himself against him with a severe vengeance, and He made an example and admonition of him for those rebellious people in the world who are like him.

وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَـمَةِ بِيْسَ الرِّفْدُ الْمَرْفُودُ

And on the Day of Resurrection, evil indeed is the gift gifted, ﴿i.e., the curse (in this world) pursued by another curse (in the Hereafter). (11;99)

This is as Allah says,

وَجَعَلْنَـهُمْ أَيِمَّةً يَدْعُونَ إِلَى النَّارِ وَيَوْمَ الْقِيـمَةِ لَا يُنصَرُونَ

And We made them leaders inviting to the Fire;and on the Day of Resurrection, they will not be helped. (28;41)

Allah said;

إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَعِبْرَةً لِّمَن يَخْشَى
