Al-Inshiqaq Verse 19

You will certainly pass from one state to another.[[ You will pass from life to death and from death to resurrection, from well-being to sickness and from sickness to well-being, from poverty to richness and from richness to poverty, etc.]]

You will surely pass from one stage to another.

you shall surely ride stage after stage.

you will progress from stage to stage.

Surely ye shall ride layer upon layer.

Ye shall surely travel from stage to stage.

you shall proceed onwards from stage to stage.

That you will climb from stage to stage.

You will surely go up level by level.

you will surely fare from stage to stage.

You will most certainly move on from one state to another (congruous with it).

That you shall invariably pass on from one stage to another.

You will ride/embark (E) a stage/layer/cover from/of/on a stage/layer/cover (they move from one state to another i.e. birth to death).

You will surely go up level by level.

You shall surely travel from stage to stage!

You shall certainly travel from stage to stage (in this life and in the Hereafter).

But what is the matter with them that they believe not?

That you shall most certainly enter one state after another.

That ye shall journey on from plane to plane.

that you will certainly pass through one stage after another.

that you shall surely ride from stage to stage.

You shall certainly travel from stage

you will progress from stage to stage.

You will mount stage by stage.

you will surely journey (tarkabunna is actually tarkabnanna, but the nn of the indicative has been omitted because of two identical letters following one another, and the ww [is omitted] because of two unvocalised consonants coming together), from stage to stage, state after state, namely, death, then life, then what comes afterwards of the states at the Resurrection.

You shall certainly travel from stage to stage.

Al-Bukhari recorded from Mujahid that Ibn Abbas said,

"Stage after stage. Your Prophet has said this."

Al-Bukhari recorded this statement with this wording. Ikrimah said,
طَبَقاً عَن طَبقٍ
(From stage to stage).

"Stage after stage. Weaned after he was breast feeding, and an old man after he was a young man."

Al-Hasan Al-Basri said,
طَبَقاً عَن طَبقٍ
(From stage to stage).

"Stage after stage.

- Ease after difficulty,

- difficulty after ease,

- wealth after poverty,

- poverty after wealth,

- health after sickness, and

- sickness after health."
The Disapproval of Their Lack of Faith, giving Them Tidings of the Torment, and that the Ultimate Pleasure will be for the Believers

Allah said,

فَمَا لَهُمْ لَا يُوْمِنُونَ
