An-Nahl Ayah 117

مَتَاعٌ قَلِيْلٌ ۖوَّلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ اَلِيْمٌ   ( النحل: ١١٧ )

An enjoyment
(Ce sont) des biens
qalīlun
قَلِيلٌ
little
peu
walahum
وَلَهُمْ
and for them
et (il y aura) pour eux
ʿadhābun
عَذَابٌ
(is) a punishment
un châtiment
alīmun
أَلِيمٌ
painful
douloureux.

Mata'un qaleelunw wa lahum 'azaabun aleem (an-Naḥl 16:117)

English Sahih:

Ads by Muslim Ad Network

[It is but] a brief enjoyment, and they will have a painful punishment. (An-Nahl [16] : 117)

Muhammad Hamidullah:

Ce sera pour eux une piètre jouissance, mais un douloureux châtiment les attend. (An-Nahl [16] : 117)

Pour avoir suivi leurs passions, ils jouiront du peu de choses que leur offre le bas monde et ils auront droit à un châtiment douloureux le Jour de la Résurrection.
