اُولٰۤىِٕكَ الَّذِيْنَ اشْتَرَوُا الْحَيٰوةَ الدُّنْيَا بِالْاٰخِرَةِ ۖ فَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَلَا هُمْ يُنْصَرُوْنَ ࣖ ( البقرة: ٨٦ )
ulāika
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
Those
Ceux-là
alladhīna
ٱلَّذِينَ
(are) the ones who
(sont) ceux qui
ish'tarawū
ٱشْتَرَوُا۟
bought
ont acheté
l-ḥayata
ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ
the life
la vie
l-dun'yā
ٱلدُّنْيَا
(of) the world
(de) l’ici-bas
bil-ākhirati
بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِۖ
for the Hereafter;
avec l’au-delà,
falā
فَلَا
so not
donc ne
yukhaffafu
يُخَفَّفُ
will be lightened
sera (pas) allégé
ʿanhumu
عَنْهُمُ
for them
pour eux
l-ʿadhābu
ٱلْعَذَابُ
the punishment
le châtiment
walā
وَلَا
and not
et ne pas
hum
هُمْ
they
ils
yunṣarūna
يُنصَرُونَ
will be helped
recevront d’aide contre les ennemis.
Ulaaa'ikal lazeenash tarawul hayaatad dunyaa bil aakhirati falaa yukhaffafu 'anhumul 'azaabu wa laa hum yunsaroon (al-Baq̈arah 2:86)
English Sahih:
Those are the ones who have bought the life of this world [in exchange] for the Hereafter, so the punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be aided. (Al-Baqarah [2] : 86)
Muhammad Hamidullah:
Voilà ceux qui échangent la vie présente contre la vie future. Eh bien, leur châtiment ne sera pas diminué. Et ils ne seront point secourus. (Al-Baqarah [2] : 86)
