اِذْ قَالَ لِاَبِيْهِ وَقَوْمِهٖ مَا هٰذِهِ التَّمَاثِيْلُ الَّتِيْٓ اَنْتُمْ لَهَا عَاكِفُوْنَ ( الأنبياء: ٥٢ )

ٱلتَّمَاثِيلُ
[the] statues
[les] représentations en pierre
allatī
ٱلَّتِىٓ
which
(à) qui
antum
أَنتُمْ
you
vous (êtes)
lahā
لَهَا
to it
à elles
ʿākifūna
عَٰكِفُونَ
(are) devoted?"
dévoués ? »
Iz qaala li abeehi wa qawmihee maa haazihit tamaaseelul lateee antum lahee 'aakifoon (al-ʾAnbiyāʾ 21:52)
English Sahih:
When he said to his father and his people, "What are these statues to which you are devoted?" (Al-Anbya [21] : 52)
Muhammad Hamidullah:
Quand il dit à son père et à son peuple: «Que sont ces statues auxquelles vous vous attachez?» (Al-Anbiya' [21] : 52)
