لَعَلَّنَا نَتَّبِعُ السَّحَرَةَ اِنْ كَانُوْا هُمُ الْغٰلِبِيْنَ ( الشعراء: ٤٠ )

لَعَلَّنَا
That we may
afin que nous
nattabiʿu
نَتَّبِعُ
follow
suivrons
l-saḥarata
ٱلسَّحَرَةَ
the magicians
les magiciens
in
إِن
if
s’
kānū
كَانُوا۟
they are
ils seront
humu
هُمُ
they are
eux
l-ghālibīna
ٱلْغَٰلِبِينَ
the victorious?"
les gens qui surpassent ? »
La'allanaa nattabi'us saharata in kaanoo humul ghaalibeen (aš-Šuʿarāʾ 26:40)
English Sahih:
That we might follow the magicians if they are the predominant?" (Ash-Shu'ara [26] : 40)
Muhammad Hamidullah:
afin que nous suivions les magiciens, si ce sont eux les vainqueurs?» (Ach-Chu'ara' [26] : 40)
