Ali-'Imran Ayah 141

وَلِيُمَحِّصَ اللّٰهُ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَيَمْحَقَ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ  ( آل عمران: ١٤١ )

waliyumaḥḥiṣa
وَلِيُمَحِّصَ
And so that may purify
Et afin que purifie
l-lahu
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
Allâh
alladhīna
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ceux qui
āmanū
ءَامَنُوا۟
believe
ont accepté la foi
wayamḥaqa
وَيَمْحَقَ
and destroy
et détruise
l-kāfirīna
ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
the disbelievers
les mécréants.

Wa liyumahhisal laahul lazeena aamanoo wa yamhaqal kaafireen (ʾĀl ʿImrān 3:141)

English Sahih:

Ads by Muslim Ad Network

And that Allah may purify the believers [through trials] and destroy the disbelievers. (Ali 'Imran [3] : 141)

Muhammad Hamidullah:

et afin qu'Allah purifie ceux qui ont cru, et anéantisse les mécréants. (Ali-'Imran [3] : 141)

Parmi les autres raisons qui relèvent de Sa sagesse, on compte les suivantes: purifier les croyants de leurs péchés, débarrasser leurs rangs des hypocrites et anéantir les mécréants.
